I've noticed a rise in conversations surrounding Mental Health and was interested in learning more about it. As I started to have more conversations with friends around me, it helped to give me a better understanding of how people cope with and manage their mental health conditions. I found that being able to voice your feelings and thoughts is one of the first and most important steps to take when suffering with mental health issues. Whether it be with close friends, family or even a professional; being able to speak to someone is usually a pivotal moment in a person's journey and can open the door to recovery. Therefore, we should always try our best to be open and understanding with people around us as anyone could be suffering in silence.
